Our carob syrup is made from carob rods grown in an environmentally friendly region in natural conditions. Passed on from generation to generation the unique recipes for the preparation of carob syrup (pekmez) have been inherited from our ancestors. Pekmez (syrup from carob) thickens in special stainless tanks in a wood-burning stove and, when ready, is poured into glass containers with an airtight lid.
